    Hi Stickney Family,

    Grandpa Jerry and I just got home from a three day weekend spent on the St. Joe River near St. Mary's, Idaho. The most exciting thing that happened over the weekend is that our dog, Katy, scared a bear right up a tree. She did it very quickly and then came running back to us when we called her. She's a great dog.

    While there, we went on two really long horseback rides (20 miles and 10 miles) and did a little fly fishing. We truly got to enjoy our camper during this trip.

      That is so cool! Was it a cub or a full grown bear? I am guessing that it was a Black Bear. Who did you ride? I'm gonna guess Chief and Josie.
